Bio of our Founder/CEO - Marc Rubino

From the small town of Haddon Heights, NJ, to building nationally recognized companies, my journey has been defined by grit, creativity, and relentless drive. As a kid, I was always tinkering — my grandmother called it “a thousand thoughts a minute” — and that instinct to build never left me.

I’ve never worked for anyone else. At 19, I launched my first business from my parents’ garage, learning everything through trial, error, and persistence. Those lessons shaped not just companies but a philosophy: with passion and perseverance, any dream is achievable.
Meeting my wife, Jaime, in 2012 gave me a partner in both life and vision. Together, we’re raising our sons, Luca and Santo, instilling in them the same spirit of resilience and curiosity. Our homes in Haddonfield, Longport, and Old Naples, FL, reflect a life built around family, community, and adventure.
Kings Ventures
Founded in 2007, Kings Ventures is my investment and operating firm, built on the belief that true growth comes from active involvement. We don’t just invest — we step in, lead, and transform businesses. Kings Ventures has become known for guiding small to mid-sized companies through critical transitions, turning vision into measurable growth.
Over nearly two decades, I’ve founded, scaled, and led dozens of ventures across healthcare, automotive, and technology. Some have grown into market leaders, others have been acquired by strategic buyers, and many continue to thrive under my leadership today.
Ventures
SmartPAR – Founder & CEO
SmartPAR is an AI-powered hospital inventory management platform redefining how procedural supplies are tracked and optimized. By eliminating reliance on barcodes, hardware, and manual counts, SmartPAR delivers real-time visibility into what’s actually used, wasted, expired, or recalled. With growing adoption among hospitals and ASCs, the platform is positioned to scale rapidly and deliver transformative value to the healthcare supply chain.
Clark Services Group – CEO
Founded in 1988, Clark Services Group has spent more than 35 years safeguarding hospital infrastructure and ensuring compliance with the highest health and safety standards. Today, Clark serves as a trusted partner to healthcare systems across the Mid-Atlantic, offering comprehensive facility services with a relentless focus on reliability, professionalism, and critical environments.
Glenside Auto Sales – CFO & Partner
Glenside, established in 1949, has grown into one of the most respected wholesale automotive companies in the Mid-Atlantic. As CFO and Partner, I oversee operations, acquisitions, and financial strategy for a company that now runs hundreds of cars each week through auction. Glenside balances a proud legacy of trust and tradition with the systems and scale needed to thrive in today’s market.
Redline Automotive Merchandising – Founder & Board Member
Redline began as a solo project and grew into a national leader with more than 150 employees, pioneering how dealerships photograph, market, and present inventory. After its acquisition by private equity, I remain on the board to help guide strategy and ensure Redline continues to set the standard for automotive merchandising.
GoMoto – Co-Founder & Executive Chairman
I co-founded GoMoto, a software and hardware company that developed a patented self-service check-in system for dealerships. As Executive Chairman, I led product and go-to-market strategy, helping the company grow into a recognized player in automotive retail technology before its acquisition by Reynolds & Reynolds in 2021.
Convictions & Inspiration
My grandfathers — both members of the Greatest Generation — taught me resilience through their stories of surviving the Great Depression and serving in World War II. Their example instilled in me a respect for freedom, sacrifice, and the opportunities this country provides.
Outside of business, I find balance in family and community: coaching my sons’ sports teams, enjoying time at the beach, or diving into a hands-on project. These moments ground me, reminding me that success is as much about legacy as it is about growth.
My Mission
Through ventures like SmartPAR, Clark Services Group, Glenside, Redline, GoMoto, and dozens of others, one mission has remained constant: to empower, innovate, and lead by example. I believe entrepreneurship isn’t about risk — it’s about execution. With the right mindset and relentless work ethic, any vision can become reality.
